Out of the BedZoom #37: Renewal – Thursday 31st December – online
Out of the BedZoom 37 will take place this Hogmanay: Thursday 31st December via Zoom online. You can join with the Zoom ID 869 1556 8748 and passcode 089497. As usual, there will be a waiting room in operation.This week’s theme is Renewal. Goodbye 2020 – we will have mixed feelings. Time to move on to the new pastures of 2021. A New Year always offers hope and the promise of the new. Perhaps we need that now more than ever. You can play an original song based on the theme or not – the choice is yours.
We will start at 8.00 p.m. and we’ll go on until the final act plays. Each act will perform one song. Slots for performers will be allocated randomly, with the last act choosing a number of the next act.
The Zoom room will be open from 7.30. This will allow time for hellos, catch up and technical set up if required.
Out of the BedZoom #36: Christmas, not Christmas took place on Thursday 17th December. There were more Christmas songs than not and the 15-strong line up of performers was as follows: John Lamb, Majk Stokes, Jim Bryce, John Phillips, Beth Clarke, Scott Renton, Bill Phillip, Catherine Duguid, Nyk Stoddart, Neil Fox, Grant Robertson, James Igoe, Startled Bee, Mike Wheeler, Alex Payne.
