OOTB 690 – Thursday 18th April – Neil Matthew Fox

Out of the Bedroom 690 will take place in Woodland Creatures on Thursday, 18th April from 8.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Entry is free and sign up for an open mic slot is from 7.30 p.m., with 10 to 15 minutes per act depending on the number of performers.

Neil Matthew FoxFeature act this week is Neil Matthew Fox. Fife based singer-songwriter Neil has been a frequent performer on the Edinburgh open-mic scene since he took up guitar in 2017. Performing dark folk songs, murder ballads and the the occasional love (or hate!) song, his inspirations include Bob Dylan, John Prine and Johnny Cash, alongside much traditional Scots, Irish, English and American folk music. Armed with his trusty Martin acoustic guitar and mandolin, Neil aims to entertain the audience with a varied and unique set list.
