OOTB 691 – Thursday 2nd May – Nyk Stoddart

Out of the Bedroom 691 will take place in Woodland Creatures on Thursday, 2nd May from 8.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Entry is free and sign up for an open mic slot is from 7.30 p.m., with 10 to 15 minutes per act depending on the number of performers.

Feature act this week is Nyk Stoddart. In Nyk’s words: “I’m not much for self promotion, but I have being writing songs, which are often comedic, but also introspective, and influenced by Dylan, Neil Young and Pink Floyd, in Edinburgh since the late 1980s. Even though I’ve played at nights such as The Listening Room, Live at the Loft and even venues like the Jazz Bar and the Wee Red Bar, my heart has always been at my favourite songwriter night, Out of the Bedroom.”
