OOTB 785 – Thursday 9th January – The Safari Lounge

Happy New Year! May all music sound better this year than ever before.

Out of the Bedroom number 785 is on Thursday 9th January, downstairs in The Safari Lounge, 21 Cadzow Place, Edinburgh EH7 5SN. Edinburgh’s longest running open mic is on from 8.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Entry is free and sign up for a slot is from 7.30 p.m.

All are welcome! There will be a PA, house guitar and house keyboard available. Please feel free to come along and share your original songs and stories with some of Edinburgh’s friendliest musos and music fans!

Well over 100 acts played their original music at Out of the Bedroom events in 2024. We hope to see many new acts and many returning acts in 2025 – and hopefully that means you too!

Out of the Bedroom 784 was held at The Safari Lounge on Thursday 12th December. The performers were: Jim Bryce, Aidan McNally (debut), Zane Havens (debut), Charlie Neale (debut), Nick Rowell, Robbie Raidan, Elsie MacDonald… with Jude Joseph (debut), Hansen Muir, James Igoe, Folke Wiemann, Paul Masser, Rufus Buckett. Jim Bryce hosted and Alyx Dickson was on sound desk.
