OOTB 800 Mega Mic – Thursday 4th September – The Safari Lounge

Out of the Bedroom number 800 is on Thursday 4th September, and it will be a… Mega Mic! We’re downstairs in The Safari Lounge, 21 Cadzow Place, Edinburgh EH7 5SN and Edinburgh’s longest running open mic is on from 8.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Entry is free and sign up for a slot is from 7.30 p.m.

A Mega Mic means that every act gets one song only – original music as usual. All are welcome – we’re planning to fit around 30 people in over the course of the evening! There will be a PA, house guitar and house keyboard available. Please feel free to come along and share your original songs and stories with some of Edinburgh’s friendliest musos and music fans!

Note: Sign up is now on the night only, as we have filled the pre-booked slots. There will be about a dozen or so slots on the night. Please arrive early to book your place.

Out of the Bedroom 799 was held at The Safari Lounge on Thursday 24th July. The performers were: Emma Miller (debut), Zoë Moonshine, Elsie MacDonald, Màiri Macleod, Stu Gray, Ross Neilzen, Jim Bryce, SophieAnnabell (Safari debut), Stin Pena (debut), Alex from Stin Pena (debut). Ross Neilzen hosted and Jim Bryce was on sound desk.
