OOTB 808 – Thursday 8th January – The Safari Lounge

Happy New Year! Out of the Bedroom number 808 is on Thursday 8th January, downstairs in The Safari Lounge, 21 Cadzow Place, Edinburgh EH7 5SN. Edinburgh’s longest running open mic is on from 8.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Entry is free and sign up for a slot is from 7.30 p.m.

All are welcome! There will be a PA, house guitar and house keyboard available. Please feel free to come along and share your original songs and stories with some of Edinburgh’s friendliest musos and music fans! Note: over-18s only.

Out of the Bedroom will be celebrating its quarter century in 2026. Yes – it will be 25 years in November when OOTB officially started at The Waverley Bar in St. Mary’s Street. Watch out for some special events to mark the 25th birthday over the year.

Out of the Bedroom 807, the Christmas show, was held at The Safari Lounge on Thursday 11th December. The performers who played (sorry we couldn’t fit in everyone) were: Geoff Winde, Sans Terre (debut), Overton & McCann, Ally Duncan, Pixie Moonshine, Mike Wheeler, Flame of Fervour (debut), Rufus Beckett, Elsie MacDonald, Zuzanna Gabriela, Ross Neilzen, Ian Sclater, Nick Rowell, Tom Hunt, Startled Bee, Robbie Raidan, Steve Anderson, Jotham. Steve Anderson hosted and James Igoe was on sound desk.
